Each weekend in the summer we play sand Volleyball, Petanque, Shuffleboard,
Horseshoes, outdoor ping pong, outdoor darts and more. Archery anyone? We
probably have the only nudist archery range in the nation. We have a
gorgeous 20' x 40' crystal clear heated pool to float in. Come out and join
us clothes free.

This isn't a KOA style campground like others.
Oh no, far from it at Oakwood.
We
have 40+ wooded and usable acres tucked away within 21,000
acres of a State Wildlife Refuge. We offer by far the
largest, most spacious lots of any nudist campground and at
lower prices. You will not find rows and rows of trailers at
Oakwood similar to your local KOA campground.
We are located approximately 35
minutes north of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St.
Paul. We are easily accessible via freeway yet tucked away
remotely and securely from the public eye. Many of our
neighbors don't even know where Oakwood is except the deer
and wild turkeys that are always seen on the grounds.
Oakwood
was

The

complete with many current color photos . We have a total of
196 members as of Labor Day weekend 2009.
FRIENDLY? Show me a group of
nudists basking in the sun and we'll show you friendly. :)
Largest? Being the largest is not always the best. All of
our visitors say they love the size of Oakwood and the
outgoing friendliness of our members. We welcome our guests
to join us in the many activities Oakwood offers. Our pool
is never crowded and our grounds are so spacious it is
impossible to feel "packed in" at Oakwood.
Full membership is 25-35% lower then other local landed
clubs.

Every Saturday and Sunday starting in May we
play sand volleyball until it is time for dinner.
We play for fun and all skill levels are welcome at Oakwood.
Oakwood
has two of the
Midwest's finest petanque courts, a 20' x 40' heated
swimming pool with a deep end, a shuffleboard court, an
archery range, outdoor electronic darts, outdoor ping pong
table and coming in the fall of 2009........ a clubhouse
addition/storm shelter made for future possible year around
use and a tennis/basketball court for all you sports
enthusiasts. Our members survey voiced an opinion for a
Conversation pool/hot tub when funds become available.
Oakwood's present 30' x 50' and soon to be 30'
x 94' Modern Clubhouse
is open 24/7 - year
around for full member use.
Our clubhouse is
the nicest and largest one around. It is complete
with a
stainless steel kitchen,
WIFI, Big Screen TV, darts, foosball, fireplace,
stereo system, games, movies, books, Texas Holdem and more.
The most usable acreage and the most
privacy of any Minnesota Campground.

Founded in 1942, Oakwood is Minnesota’s longest running club.
We have doubled our membership in just three years since
we added electric, water and sewer to all of our lots.
Oakwood has 40+
fully usable and beautiful acres.
Oakwood is surrounded by 21,000 acres of State Wildlife refuge to ensure privacy
for the nudist lifestyle. If you want to avoid that "trailer park - KOA"
campground feeling then come to Oakwood.
We have 78 very
large lots spread over our 40+ acres. Every
lot is a minimum of 2000 square feet in size. If you like open spaces we have a
commons area larger then two football fields for your use. Modern, peaceful,

Most Saturday's at 6
pm in the clubhouse Oakwood has an inexpensive dinner for members, guests and
visitors to attend. This is a great time to meet, greet and socialize. At
8 pm there are many
activities going on
throughout the 2009 season in our clubhouse as well as bonfires at various sites
on our campground/resort. Come on out and join us. What

Our lots range from full sun to partial sun to a complete canopy of oak trees.
Thus the name Oakwood Club. We have two modern low cost
rental/usage trailers. Book in advance.
Nearby hiking and biking trails are
available. Our pool is heated to 84 degrees the entire season. We have two
saunas, wood and electric. 2 bathhouses with indoor & outdoor showers. Our
new Petanque Courts and Pavilion
are pictured above. Woody's Pavilion is fully furnished
with a sink, icemaker & fridge to keep your beverages cool through those hot
Petanque games you will be playing at Oakwood. Petanque bores you? Our outdoor
Dart Board at Woody's will keep you entertained all afternoon,
or
just sit back and take in the action at the sand volleyball court.
Better yet, join in.
Oakwood is a place to meet old friends, make new friends and enjoy nature in a
safe, private and naked environment.
Oakwood is like a community, a family and we all have one
trait in common - WE'RE NUDISTS! No club in our area can match the
splendor, beauty and spaciousness of
Oakwood.
Our grounds consist of a wide variety of trees such as oak, birch,
maples, pine andmore. We have a
wide variety of songbirds, wild turkeys and deer often seen wandering the
grounds. All of our lot sites
have water, electric and sewer hookup. Bring your tent, 5th wheel or RV. We can
host all your needs. Make Oakwood a relaxing weekend destination or just come
for the day and enjoy our spacious, beautiful grounds.
