Oakwood Club is the friendliest nudist club in Minnesota.
Our greatest assets? OUR MEMBERS BY FAR! Our 40 acre fully usable modern
campground is tucked away out of the public eye which assures you the utmost
privacy, yet we are close to all modern conveniences. Recent additions have
modernized Oakwood bringing us into the 21st century. Oakwood is a co-op club.
Formed in Coon Rapids MN. in 1942 the club relocated 40 miles north of the Twin
Cities in 1961. Through the 60's, 70's & 80's Oakwood was mainly a daytime get
away on the weekends for its members to play Volleyball. In the 1990's that
changed as more and more campers came on the grounds and members began staying
overnight. It became apparent as we entered the 21st century that Oakwood could
maintain and keep its peaceful, serene, back to nature look while also enjoying
the conveniences of a modern campground/resort. Listed below are some of the
things we the members have added in the past five years. Below we also list our
Long Range plans. There are only 14 lots left at Oakwood as of April 1st, 2008.
I suggest you contact Membership today to take a tour of our facility and join
Oakwood in 2008. It doesn't have to be 80 degrees to enjoy nudism at Oakwood. If
you come out in April you will see lots of naked Minnesotans walking around. In
the clubhouse the fireplace will be roaring, music playing, darts, cards and
more will be played every Saturday night beginning April 13th. Don't miss our
inexpensive dinners served up at 6pm every Saturday in the clubhouse.
Oakwood has come a long, long way in
the past 5 years. If you haven't been to Oakwood in a few
years here is a list of accomplishments our members have done.

* All
77 of our lots now have sewer hookup + electrical
and water.
* Brand new
outdoor Pavilion and 2 new Petanque Courts,
PLUS an outdoor dart board.
* Brand new state of the
art adjustable VB court poles.
* Clubhouse Renovation. Interior & Exterior,
complete with stainless steel appliances.
* Added a Brand new Double Commercial oven to host our dinners every
Saturday night.
* Added a LARGE commercial ice maker
in 2007. Free ice at all times when you visit Oakwood.
* All brand
new Pool furniture was added in 2007 when we fully
renovated our 20' x40' heated pool.
* Added a Members & Visitors Day area
outside the front of our clubhouse.
* Archery Range added.
* Added WIFI to the grounds in 2007.
* Our clubhouse has a Big Screen TV, Stereo System, 2
Dart Boards, Foosball Table, and 2 Texas Hold em tables for those Saturday
night games.
* Oakwood is a Minnesota
Licensed Campground and a 100% Member of the AANR.
Long Range Planning has these future additions in the works.
1): Double the size of the clubhouse for year around use,
complete with a furnace and central air.
2) Add 2 Tennis Courts with basketball hoops.
3) New swimming pool and hot tub when needed.
