About Us

Oakwood Club is the fastest growing (100% + increase in membership in the last 5 years), Down to 75 members in 2003-2004 we have risen to 190 as of 9/3/2009. LOWEST PRICED, largest usable acreage (40+ acre campground), most active by far (we offer more social and sports activities then any other club in Minnesota) and we are told often by our guests that we are the friendliest group of folks they have ever met.
Our greatest assets?  OUR MEMBERS BY FAR!
We are a co-op club and we are open to the general public to experience the nudist lifestyle. Come visit us today. We'll explain to you all about nudism. Once you become a nudist and no longer have the confines of clothes on those hot summer days you'll never know who amongst us are Dr's, firemen, attorneys, judges, social workers etc...
Our 40
+ acre  modern campground is tucked away out of the public eye which assures you the utmost privacy. Recent additions in the last five years have modernized Oakwood bringing us into the 21st century. We are a co-op club. Formed in Coon Rapids MN. in 1942 the club relocated 35 miles north of the Twin Cities in 1961. Through the 60's, 70's & 80's Oakwood was mainly a daytime get away on the weekends for its members to play volleyball and enjoy the pool. In the 1990's that changed as more and more campers came on the grounds and members began staying overnight. It became apparent as we entered the 21st century that Oakwood could maintain and keep its peaceful, serene, back to nature look while also enjoying the conveniences of a modern campground/resort. Listed below are some of the things we the members have added in the past five years. Below we also list our Long Range plans. There is only only 1 full hookup lot left at Oakwood for the 2009 season. I suggest you contact Membership today to take a tour of our facility and join Oakwood in 2009.  Don't miss our inexpensive dinners served up at 6pm every Saturday in the clubhouse.

Oakwood has come a long, long way in the past 5 years. If you haven't been to Oakwood in a few years here is a list of accomplishments our members have done.
The Oakwood grounds and facilities are open to all full time members 12 months of the year. Water is on from mid April until mid October.
